The best Antarctica journey yet?

There has been much excitement following the recent discovery of a hitherto unknown rookery of 4000 pairs of Emperor Penguins at Snow Hill Island in Antarctica.  We are now taking bookings for a voyage in November 2009 of the ice-breaker Kapitan Khlebnikov’ to navigate south from Ushuaia through the Weddell Sea to this remote location.

By ice-breaking in early season, an alleyway of hundreds of miles of icebergs is opened up as the Khlebnikov pushes southwards. It is the only ship that is equipped to make this journey and all participants are set to enjoy a pioneering journey that is without parallel in terms of wilderness and photography

The final approach from the ship is made by helicopter and then on foot to complete this unique pilgrimage. In accompaniment will be the BBC presenter and award-winning wildlife photographer Jonathan Scott offering his invaluable advice on wildlife and photography.

Call or email us now for more details and to book your place on this spectacular trip of a lifetime!
