Following the Government’s ‘road map’ announcement yesterday to ease the present lockdown, we’re sure you’re as encouraged as we are by the indication that international travel is targeted to re-open on 17th May.
Our release from this endless pandemic purgatory suddenly seems quite imminent and we have seen an immediate spike in enquiries from our tribe of travel-deprived clients looking to celebrate their impending freedom.
To assist you with your escape plans, here is our own mini road-map to summarise things as they stand now …
Upcoming bookings for April and May
If you have an existing booking with us for April or May, we will be in touch with you in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, there is nothing you need to do, but feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss anything about your travel arrangements.
Also, for clients with trips due to depart in the coming few months, the Department for Transport’s ‘Travel Taskforce’ is scheduled to report on 12th April in greater detail on the re-opening of international travel and we await further guidance then.
Booking further ahead
Our tour operator partners have worked tirelessly over the course of the pandemic to continue to have holidays that will be readily bookable as soon as conditions permit and we are able to offer a vast array of holiday options through our network of 80 approved suppliers including self-drive holidays, city-breaks, villas and self-catering apartments, small group escorted tours, wildlife holidays and fully-tailored itineraries.
Such is the pent-up demand for holidays that booking well in advance is recommended to avoid any availability issues which already exist for certain destinations as much of last summer’s cancelled bookings were automatically re-scheduled for 2021.
Meanwhile, some exceptional discount offers are still currently available so please ask us for any potential incentives or savings where these apply.
