As announced this week, the last remaining Covid-19 travel test is being removed from 11th February for fully vaccinated travellers returning to the UK.

And with destinations opening up as countries increasingly remove their own restrictions our customers are seizing the chance to travel freely again.

Since the New Year we have arranged trips for clients for 2022 including wildlife-watching in Borneo, trekking to Everest Base Camp, journeying from Buenos Aires to Rio, attending the Hornbill Festival in northern India, family adventure holidays in Costa Rica and Vietnam & Cambodia as well as trips to Japan, Sri Lanka and Zanzibar.

With ‘Covid-friendly’ booking conditions still being offered by our tour operator partners and some outstanding offers available, now is a great time to get your 2022 plans in place.

Where is best to travel right now?

We are regularly being asked which countries are currently the most straightforward places to travel.  If you’re keen to escape the winter weather for a quick getaway then Costa Rica, Egypt, The Maldives, Oman, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Mexico and the Caribbean are all great choices with minimal entry requirements.

Eastern and Southern Africa and most South American countries are also open for travellers. And although they have a few more entry requirements, Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi in Malaysia and most of Cambodia are now welcoming visitors too.

‘But, what if…’

Whilst things are getting far less restrictive for travellers now, we find clients still have lots of ‘what if’ queries regarding Covid protocols, travel insurance and booking conditions.

After two years of the pandemic there aren’t many scenarios we haven’t already dealt with and we can readily answer most of your questions, so please ask us about anything that concerns you so we can help you on your way.

Happy travels!
